You cannot possibly run a decent mp3 blog without having to remove at least one track following the complaint of an artist or a record label. It took more than 3 years but finally here it is: I have been contacted by LEX RECORDS who have asked me to remove the link to Thom Yorke's remix of DOOM, featured in the last issue of ZEROCAST.
Fair enough. I'm more than happy for BARON ZERO music to be shared widely all over the internet but I do accept that other people may have a different view. And it was so nicely asked, it would have been difficult to say no:
Hi there,
I work at Lex Records Ltd. and we own the copyright for the MP3 tracks that you've put up on your blog:DOOM Gazillion Ear (Thom Yorke Remix).
Please don't post up links to illegal downloads. We're a totally independent record label putting out only a few really high-quality records each year and if people keep stealing the music, this won't last long...
Thanks for your support :)

It is ironic that less than 6 months after asking to remove the link to Thom Yorke's remix of DOOM Gazillion Ear, LEX RECORDS have just sent me an email with a free download of a ... DOOM Gazillion Ear remix ! What was all the fuss about in the first place for, then ?
And you know what ? Even though it is a good remix, I will not post it. That will teach not to mess with the Zohan.
Keep rocking
Le Baron
